Right now for Holistic class we are reading The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight.


"We're all made out of sunlight"

It's basically about how humans have messed up the Earth (and apparently, it eventually includes what we can do about it). It's been a good book so far, but it's pretty depressing.

I've also been reading Be Here Now by Ram Dass

The author was a professor at Harvard in the 60's who did experiments with students on LSD. They kicked him out and he went to India to study with a guru.

Masks

Today in Holistic class we had a lesson on masks. Our teacher had us pick a mask that represented "feeling small" and one that represented "feeling big".

We put on the roles of these mindsets while walking around campus as well as applied them to a current situation in our lives.
